Delicious Raw Vegan Pate

INGREDIENTS:
• 1 cup yellow onions, diced
• 5 mushrooms, diced
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• olive oil
• 1 cup of raw sunflower seeds, ground
• 1/2 cup flour
• 1/2 cup nutritional yeast
• 1 small bunch basil
• 1 tsp dried thyme
• A few sage leaves
• 1/4 teaspoon kelp powder
• 1 1/2 cups water
• 3 tbsp soy sauce
• 1 cup grated potatoes
• 1 habanero pepper, seeded and minced
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
1. Over medium high heat, sauté onions, mushrooms, pepper and garlic in olive oil until translucent and tender.
2. In a large mixing bowl combine ground sunflower seeds (use a coffee grinder to make easy work of the grinding), flour, yeast and spices. Mix in water, soy sauce, oil and potatoes and stir to coat and mix.
3. Add sautéed vegetables and transfer into a shallow baking dish or pie plate that has been lightly oiled.
4. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until browned.
5. Chill 4-6 hours, preferably overnight before serving.
