Cheesy Grits

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup milk or rice milk
  • 2 cups water
  • 3/4 cups quick cooking grits
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese or creamy polenta

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.     Heat liquid in saucepan until boiling.

2.     Slowly add grits, whisking constantly and cook for 5 minutes.

3.     Stir in cheese and mix until melted.

4.     Serve.
