This is a great meat stand-in for almost any recipe that calls for ground meat.

INGREDIENTS:

• 2 cups cooked bulghur wheat
• 1/4 cup flour
• 1 tablespoon dried basil
• 1 egg substitute
• 1 teaspoon sage
• 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
• Sea salt to taste
• olive oil

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Mix all ingredients except oil together and form into small patties.
2. Dust with flour.
3. Fry in oil until golden brown.
4. You can also make “meatless meatballs” and deep fry them for a great treat!
